Katie Bennison has been a youth acting coach and an Education Assistant dedicated to helping kids and teens find their unique voices through the arts. Katie is a BCIT Radio Communications graduate and a Langara-trained Education Assistant passionate about making acting fun and accessible for every learner.

Her acting teacher background includes being the Founder and Director of the North Shore Youth Acting Studio and the Co-Creator of the "Let’s Make a Movie" summer camp for the West Vancouver Rec. Centre (MusicBox), and Creator/Facilitator of Lunchtime Improv for Ridgeview Elementary.

Katie also created and directed the "Lights, Camera, Autism" program for several Metro Vancouver school districts and the Pacific Autism Family Network, where she taught neurodiverse teens the joy of on-camera performance and communication.

By blending her professional broadcasting experience with a supportive, flexible teaching style, Katie ensures that every student feels empowered to express themselves authentically and build confidence both on and off the stage. Katie is thrilled to join Monarch Arts Education this summer and plans to further her own training this fall in Capilano University’s Acting for Stage and Screen program.
